Done Writing All the Alphabets

Finally, my toddler was able to write the Alphabets letters all by himself. I could say he is ready for kindergarten. Check out his penmanship below, isn’t it amazing? But he still need more practice though so he will not forget how to write the letters. Next time we will practice in words. photo IMG_9859_zpsebe712cf.jpg

I had been teaching the little one how to write for some time now, and he is making progress! It’s quite slow though, cause he is always making excuses such as going to the bathroom many times, that he is hungry and want some break, and babbles endlessly before writing one letter. I tell ya , it feels like forever before he can complete a word of Cat! LOL! It’s quite tough to teach a boy like his age because they all want to play and watch TV! I know right? But anyway, even though we are doing  it slow, at least he is doing something! haha.. Here is a photo below that shows a word that he wrote all by himself. I was in the computer doing my online task when he came up to me and say I want some…(pointing at his paper). He wrote Cookie all by himself. (Snap-A-Day)

Study Time with Clayton

I had been ignoring this little one studies for more than a month now, and I feel so guilty about it. I know I should focus on him since he is gonna be in Kindergarten this coming school year. He still doesnt know how to write yet, and doesn’t know how to read! Oh my, I feel so bad. So today, I sat down with him and made him write his name. I wrote his name first on his pad, and told him to copy it. He was able to copy, but after writing his name twice which took him more than 15mins, he asked for a break. He said he is very tired already and doesnt want to do it anymore. I was like.. oh oh! It sure is my fault why he behaves like that because I was so  lenient at him and just let him play all day. Because of this, I made a resolution with my little boy to have a study time every day for two hours, and reading time in the afternoon. I hope this works! And I hope that this year he will learn how to read. 🙂Snap-A-Day
