May is about to end, and you know what that means. It means that school is almost over. Yay! I bet all the schoolers are excited for the coming Summer. Well, I’m sure parents are excited too especially in US because they dont have to wake up early in the morning to help their kids get ready for school. A couple of weeks ago, on the first week of May was my eldest last day of school. I pulled him out early because of our vacation to Philippines. I called the school 3 months early before I bought the tickets to make sure that there will be no complications when we go home. I was glad that the school agree to pull him a month early before vacation and he doesnt need to repeat or finished anything in advance in order to complete the whole school year. They told me that all I need to do is enroll him again next school year for 3rd grade. Isn’t that awesome? Now we are here in Philippines enjoying our vacation without any worries.

At school, it was taught to students on how smoking can cause your life. I remember when I was still in high school, it was like every year they remind us about it. But anyway, this reminders doesn’t keep people from trying it and getting addicted to it. But some take it easy and enjoy the sweet taste of a a cigar which has different kinds of flavors like the  swisher sweets little cigars . Either way too much of everything is not good. People should learn to moderate this addiction then it won’t be that bad, and of course they should know where is the right place to lit a cigar, like make sure there is no second hand smoker around.

Everyday I checked on my 2nd grader school folder to see what they did in school. He made a lot of progress this school year and did some mischief as well. But over all he did a pretty good job.

A couple of days ago, their teacher sent home their journal. I was giggling upon reading it. He did a pretty good job in writing, his teacher said that he write’s a story pretty well. I was very proud reading his journal. Then came the last page of his journal where he featured his little brother. Reading it makes me feel even much prouder because he is such a good big brother even though his little brother is a pest sometimes. I feel very lucky to have a very good son that takes good care of the little one and doesnt mind what the little one does to him.

This house that we are renting has a dishwasher. Even since we live here, I have only used it a couple of times. I believed that something is wrong with it, cause it seems like it is not working right, and it makes funny odor and noises.  It was my first time to used a dishwasher though, so I have no idea if that is normal. Hubby said that we need to get a kitchenaid dishwasher repair before we used it again, cause this might cause us some major problem in the future if we keep on using it. I hope it is okay, so I don’t have to wash the dishes by hand, and in order for me to save time.
